Himaj Jamih is a master hair replacement barber and educator who has been in the barbering field for over 20+ years. He is prominently known for his extraordinary hair replacements, cuts and styles, allowing his customers achieve their desired look. Himaj’s skillset to cut and style is like no other. His custom hair replacements reflect inspirations by allowing clients choice: soft wave, deep wave, tight curl, braided and even loc units. Himaj has been learning barbering since 1998 while attending Phelps high school, located in the northeast quadrant of the District of Columbia. 

Starting out from humble beginnings in high school, to working in a profession barbershop, Himaj continuously worked to develop his craft and build clientele. Putting in a great deal of effort and commitment, Himaj had gained a new purpose for his business. In May of 2019, he opened up his first Barbershop, “Sharp Cuts,” located in Camp Springs, Maryland. As his brand grew, Himaj proceeded to open up his second shop, located in District Heights, Maryland in July of 2020. He opened his third shop in 2024 in South East Washington DC.

Himaj is considered to be a mentor to many as he has taught and offers training to other barbers and professionals wanting to learn how to administer nonsurgical hair replacements; a service that allows men and women who are balding the option to restore their confidence by having hair and the look they desire. “Not everyone is ready to lose their hair, shaving your head should not be the only solution to going bald” Says Himaj.
